Movie Review 141: What If

Hey

Yes, I'm still alive. I've just been going through some stuff. Work's been hectic and all the stuff leading up to Ohayocon tomorrow has been one hell of a blur. but I'm back and hopefully I'll be posting more frequently on here. I figured I'd start with the lovely little romantic comedy What If.

Movie Review: What If

Review:
It's 5 in the morning so I'm going to make this quick. I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't anything amazing or really original but I liked it. I could relate to it quite  bit. like I usually do in well made romantic comedies.

Dan Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan were fun. I find myself really enjoying Radcliffe's choices as an actor since Harry Potter. Zoe Kazan on the other hand is just fun. She reminds me of a friend I used to spend all my time with, Which made this movie hit home a bit because of it.

After watching this I wish I still had close friends I could talk to. Oh well.

Anyway enough about me, back to the review. I really enjoyed it. the movie was a bit predictable and overall it's basically just a normal romantic comedy but I really liked them together.

I enjoy when a movie can make you care about two characters without many flashy visuals and this one was that kind of movie. It reminded me a bit of Once. Subtle and even paced all the way through

Final Verdict: 80
Good chemistry, iffy overall story

Now to get some sleep before I start my severely under prepared and underfunded pilgrimage to Ohio for Ohayocon. I'll most likely post something about it on here, at least I hope I will. Go Positivity!
