Movie Review: I Won't Come Back

Hello!

I'd do a Russian greeting but good luck finding Cyrillic letters on this phone

Yeah I'm writing these all on my phone, bask in my awesomeness! Or not, up to you.

Next Up: Black Coal, Thin Ice
Then: Summer of Blood

Movie Review: I Won't Come Back

Pros:
The main actress (imdb won't comply do I can't find her name) was phenomenal. I know that's becoming a staple of these reviews, but these films are loaded with great acting. I'm nicknaming her 'Russian Elizabeth Olsen' that's saying a lot considering how good she's been lately.

I really enjoyed the way the movie unfolded. I never quite knew where it was going and was amazed by what happened. Not many movies embrace random events and this one does, to tragic effect.

Cons:
The final act felt a little disjointed. The first couple acts were well paced and coherent but the last one was a left turn I never saw coming.

Comparisons:
The movie was very similar to Before Snowfall from last year. I really liked both and enjoyed this one a bit more because the main character was more likable.

FINAL VERDICT: 88

Running late for black coal thin ice, see you after!
