Hejsan!
Ok ok, I know that's Swedish, but Sweden and Denmark are right next to each other. So I'm using that as a greeting for this one.
Anyway I'm sitting in espresso bay (again) typing this up. This ones a hard one to avoid spoilers on so be warned.
Next Up: Blue Ruin
Then: The Keeper of Lost Causes
Pros:
I love Mads mikkelsen, he deserves a whole lot more recognition here in America. This movie was a fantastic tour de force for him and if this doesn't turn him into a superstar it's a shame.

Movie Review: The Hunt

The way the story played out, the subtleties and the quiet moments are all astounding and perfect. There's not many movies that are so depressing yet so rewarding at the same time.
I really liked the way they dealt with the end. They didn't just clear him, but the filmmaker showed the father finally snapping to. And him just sitting with Lucas. He never said sorry, and he never needed to. It made for a very intriguing scene.
The very end was a good reminder that he'll always be haunted by this.
Cons:
This is a very hard movie to watch. All the way through it's bleak and depressing. I know for a fact some people hate those mind of movies (my dad) if you go to this expecting a good time you'll be disappointed

The only other issue is I hate the mother, she was the whole issue with the movie. Her and the school marm, or whatever her position was
FINAL VERDICT: 95
So now going from one brutally depressing movie to another! Yay blue ruin!
