Um, yeah, so, well, um....that was a movie....and I'm not really sure how to review it. So I'm bucking the pros and cons for this one.

Movie Review: Der Samurai

Review:

So, uh, yeah, if you can't tell I'm very perplexed after this film. I feel like the director was on some kind of acid when he made it.

The basic concept (I think): a German cop is feeding a wolf to keep it away from the city. He gets a sword in the mail, gives it to a random guy in a dress. The guy in the dress goes around a town destroying things. He massacres a bunch of people. The two of them dance next to their bodies. The dress man is caught by the cops. The dress man runs, strips, and eats bloody meat. The cop catches him. The naked dress man has a giant boner. The cop decapitates him with much blood and fire. Then dances with the sword.

Confused? Not as much as me. This whole thing was moody and atmospheric but ultimately made no sense at all. I think. The whole film just went all over the place.

Wasn't as random as Bellflower but damn close. It was weird to the max. But the shots were cool and there was good gore.

FINAL VERDICT: 60


Now I'm gonna take a shower and fall asleep, yay for sleeping in!
