Welp, onto the midnight movie! 

No big fancy intro this time, just a spoiler warning and some disclaimers about me getting a bit tired (and sore) already.

Movie Review: Black Coal, Thin Ice

Pros:
I did enjoy the somber feel of the movie most of the way through. 

I also enjoyed the cinematography and the slow burn pacing.

Cons:
I know I didn't fall asleep, but did I miss something? It seriously felt like I missed a huge chunk of the movie. Parts felt random and nonsensical. Not in a good way.

The ending was a complete mishmash. Main guy is dancing, girl is at a crime scene. And there's fireworks. It just felt unresolved as hell

Why was every female a complete nutjob. The laundry girl had no personality through the whole thing. The club owner was insane. His ex wife was depressed. Every one was uninteresting.

Was the main guy a rapist? Kinda felt like it.
