Nuada Cosplay Update!

Hello!

So I just got back from Jo-anne's and from a long meeting discussing how to make Nuada's costume a reality!

So first off My friend Meg/tae/many other random names, I'll call her Meg. she's going to help make the costume (which is pretty much gonna be her making it and me sitting there clueless for the whole time) In thanks i'm gonna help make some wings for a costume for her and Hannah.

So Today I bought a bunch of fabrics for the Coat.

The costume breaks into 5 pieces.

1. the Boots, tall boots with Ninja tabi feet.
2. Pants, Crimson loose pants, almost parachute pant like.
3. The Coat: all a patterned Tan color, heavy and with subtle designs on it, Long sleeves and high collar, It goes down to the knees and is divided into 4 sides that are separated, each separate piece is backed in the Crimson of the Pants.
4. the Corset/cumber-bun: folded crimson, cinched tight with the Silverlance Crest in the center,
5. The Vest: He has a Bone Armor vest, individual little bone pieces on the chest and upper arms, very tricky.

So anyway I have all of the pieces for the Coat, I think. I'll update more soon.

Some of the Best shots of the whole costume.

Now I'm off to play Board games. I'll also be working on Isaac along side this. I'll update with the progress on both of them as I work on them. Meg is in charge of the costume, I'm going to make the spear and crown and figure out the makeup and hair. and uber expensive contacts

  1. Do you have the pattern for the bone armor vest?

  2. I'll contact my friend who assembled it, she should have one

  3. Any chance she'd be willing to make the vest, minus the beads, for a reasonable fee? I'll add the beads myself after I figure out a design.

  4. I'll shoot her a message, beads are the hardestdo it shouldn't be too pricey

  5. Thanks. How long did it take to bead the vest? Did you see them on or glue them on?

  6. took well over a month to bead them all, ended up using rolled and dyed paper for the individual beads. had to resort to gluing because sewing was taking way too long

  7. I guess it's lucky that I don't have any deadline then.
