Wow, first time signing on today and already 60 views, i feel popular
well, just an update on the TCFF bumper, its going ok, not all that happy with it tho, im more of a Narrative filmmaker and commercial type stuff just isnt interesting to me...i've shot a number of little insert shots around the house and i have a couple outside shots to do today. (that i should be doing now but im procrastinating like hell) but yeah, i have a Wedding to videograph tomorrow, not really looking forward to that either.
to be honest, im not a camera man anymore. coming out of MPI i was a camera man and a sound guy and a scripty and a grip and an art director, but ive kinda settled on being only art department. I like art department. i understand it and i can be creative. but for some reason camera operation just isnt interesting to me anymore, especially on a tiny short im not all that interested in in the first place.
....and im ranting....anyway, im not really looking forward to the next few days, i feel like im getting pushed to do a bunch of stuff i dont want to do, and id rather just enjoy the wedding or enjoy the film festival instead of possibly having to see myself on screen all the time. cuz lets face it, that'd take me out of the experience.
so anyway, what else is up in my world, uhhh, all isaac updates are on hold til after the wedding and Bumper stuff. even tho i really want to work on the health spine. ive been trying to review more movies for y'all but instead i play team fortress 2.
its a time waster, its fun, and its not editing
i'll probably turn a movie on tonight while i edit, ill review that. probably some obscure indie dramedy, its my way.
i've watched all of 3 episodes of One Piece in the last week. i think im just let down by the Fishman island arc. after the whitebeard war it just seems lame so far. it finally picked up at the end of the last episode so maybe itll speed up.
Ive been watching Under the Dome. its good, not great, some characters are just annoying, Lester Coggins, Norrie, Junior, but it has lots of potential.
well, im gonna drink some coffee and get the lawn done, so, ill be back later to update something cooler
