I'M BACK!
after over 2 years of this Blog being a dormant Dust Gatherer i'm back!
and this time i have so much more to randomly rant about!
First off, i'm going to assume no one has bothered to read any of my previous posts so im going to start from scratch with the basics.
Name - Devon
Age - 24
Sex - Male
Location - the quiet suburbs of Detroit
Occupation - Freelance Filmmaker with a focus in Prop Mastery and set Design
now that the basics are out of the way, lets get some more stuff out of the way.
like for example, what can you expect to find on this Blog? will it be educational? will it be me randomly ranting? will it be useless trivia? will it be hot girls on motor cycles?

First! Right now i'm working on various Cosplay projects for a multitude of different conventions and outings. i'll post pictures and progress on each one as i see fit, so maybe almost every day, cuz thats what i do!
Second! random origami! i've recently started up a new youtube account where ill be posting various origami tutorials as well as weekly vlogs and such. keep an eye out for those.
Third! Random movie reviews and rants. i see almost everything in theatres, and i have some really strong opinions about them sometimes, (im looking at you This Is The End) and sometimes ranting to myself just isnt enough.
Fourth! Trivia! i'll usually add a trivia question at the end of each post for ya'll to answer.
Fifth! a top 5, i'll continue my 'random top 5 at the end of each post, since i don't remember what i posted last time i'm probably going to repeat some things, don't bitch me out.
and finally, i'm going to try to get some behind the scenes videos and interviews with various crew members of the shoots im on, so look out for that.
So, anyway, without further ado i'll come up with a good top 5, hmmm, this time i'll do...
Top 5 Movies Most Anticipated Movies of 2013:
5. Catching Fire - Really enjoyed the first Movie, loved the books (and battle royale, book movie and manga, just thought you should know) and really looking forward to yet another Hunger game. wonder why the trailer doesnt at all reference that there's a second game...
4.Gravity - Alfonso Cuaron has a really weird track record, teens masturbating, teen wizards, Post apocalyptic Tracking shots, now a movie set completely in space between only 2 actors, damn, if its anywhere near as good as any of his other movies, ill fall in love with it
3. Elysium - Neil Blomkamp, Weird name, amazing director, just look at District 9 and tell me he doesnt have amazing potential. now he's given a bigger budget and an A list actor so his imagination can have all the fun it would ever want to.
2. Pacific Rim - Guillermo del Toro might be a nerd god, i swear, he has yet to make a movie i havent liked, only 2 directors in history have that distinction, (keep reading) yet im a little afraid this might end up as a transformers with awesomeness to the max...so hopefully theres no anthony anderson...oh, and ron pearlman is in it, cuz he's awesome.
1. The Worlds End - Edgar Fucking Wright. he has made 3 movies, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Shaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz (Paul is not hiS, so stop fucking saying it is) Scott Pilgrim and Shaun are my number 1 and 2 of All Time, Hot fuzz floats around my number 5. that being said, for a director to have 3 movies in my top 5 and only have 3 movies ever made, well lets just say my excitement for number 4 is off the charts. ths also completes the 'blood and ice cream' trilogy, so thats a little bittersweet.
So anyway, thats my first top 5, of the new blog!
