Movie Review 4: Take This Waltz

Hey Friends,

Back again to Review another somberly depressing Indie film

YAY FOR DEPRESSING!

not actually yay, i just felt like saying that.

anyway, i figured it was time to clean out my netlix queue today, i deleted over 150 movies and tv shows ive fully watched. Leaving my list at about 200, so prepare for a long perilous journey through the depths of Netflix!

First up, the indie dramedy 'Take this Waltz'

whats up with me and Dramedies?

Here we go!

MOVIE REVIEW: Take This Waltz

Pros:
well, this one was odd, it has good acting and a decent pace, otherwise there werent a whole lot of Pros, some of the shots were great, and i liked some of the little quirks.

Cons:
the writing, it was very predictable and seemed to rely on a lot of Indie cliches. It's not that it was bad, it just wasnt as engrossing as most other movies, the main actress was just Blase about the whole thing and was boring. the boyfriend was just bland, maybe i didnt notice his attractiveness but he just wasnt interesting to me, i feel seth rogen was a much better partner. also,

Notes:
almost all the press i saw for this movie was about Sarah silverman going nude for a shower scene, yeah, she's nude, boobs, fake bush, all that. but is it worth sitting through the rest of the movie for it, nope.

Im going to skip comparisons for this round, it's late and theres nothing really to compare it to

Final thoughts:
it was a decent enough film,  it was just completely forgettable. all of the characters were bland and uninspired and just the whole movie was a giant shrug.

Final Verdict: 30
it was ok, just not remotely memorable, to get a higher rating, it needs to be memorable. i almost feel like i wont remember it tomorrow.

its late tonight so i think ill skip the top 5 this time
