Movie Review 164: Kill Me Three Times

Kill Me Three Times

Kill Me Three Times is a weird movie. it's like a Tarantino flick mixed with a full on comedy at times. It's multiple plot lines are, at times, hard to follow. This is hurt a bit by it insisting on having a random flashback section half way through the movie. It never quite recovers after that.

The cast was pretty solid, Headlined by the ever awesome Simon Pegg. Pegg is great as the absolutely insane, yet rather refined Hitman Charlie Wolfe. I enjoyed Wolfe as a character. he reminded me a bit like a comedic version of the Operative from Serenity. He knows he's evil, but this time he just doesn't care. he eats up every scene he's in with charm and perfect timing.

The story was odd and hard to follow, there are multiple cons going on and people randomly die in themiddle of their storylines but it makes for a bit of a tense experience since you're never really sure who can die and who can't

Is Luke Hemsworth yet another hemsworth brother?

Overall I enjoyed the movie, but in a week i'll forget I watched it. simple as that. and heading into film festival season it's going to get forgotten real damn fast.

Final Verdict: 73
