Movie Review 119: Flipped

Hello!

So im in the mysterious land of Ohio! Don't ask me why, it's ohio....nothing's in Ohio but a few friends,a  few conventions and Cedar Point!

Anyway I just got done watching the Rob Reiner film Flipped. I've heard mixed things about it, but after finishing it i'm not sure why.

Movie Review: Flipped

Review:
I really enjoyed the Persepctive changes. I like small focused movies like this. they are well conceived and well plotted out. Flipped is a great marraige of teen love and teen angst.

The Two leads did a great job with their roles. the anger and the longing and all of the emotions seemed to bubble just below the surface. Especially Madeline Carroll as Juli. she was brilliant throughout the whole thing. Bryce was good but never quite as believable as Juli.

I was fascinated by the Time Period. they never specifically say when it's set, but through set design and Costume they portray the era well.

The only real issue I had with the movie was it seemed to slow down a bit as it went on. I was almost relieved when it made it to the end. Might have just been because I'm hungry though.

Overall I really enjoyed it, I'm a bit surprised i've never seen it before and I recommend it to most people out there.

Final Verdict: 82

Now to go get food!
