Potential Cosplay Ideas

Hello Peoples of the internet!

Welcome back. I've been compiling a list of potential cosplay's i'll be doing for future cons. including Shutocon, Ohayocon, Acen, Almacon, GenCon, Anime Expo, Anime Con, NMA con, And Anime Park. and probably a few more that areny Anime based considering how many of my costumes are not anime inspired.

anyway I've come up with quite a list of costumes, a lot of which fit me, or are just cool looking.

let's start with the one's I've Done.

Dr. Horrible:

My main Costume, I've done it at every con and I get tons of compliments, it's nice to have fans!

Captain Reynolds:

Only did this to Alma con last year, wasn't much, but I got quite a few compliments.

Shaun: (Shaun of the Dead)

a personal favorite, I started the day normal, nametag and small red spot then progressively through the day added more and more blood, at one point a dart in my head and ultimately ended up like he does in the movie. I liked the complexity of it

Prince Nuada Silverlance: (Hellboy 2)

Love the character, and the costume worked decently, ended up with too many little issues, stuff fell apart, makeup flaked off, wig was in my eyes the whole time. it was just a pain to wear, I'll bring him to another con with tweaks and improvements

Now onto those I havent done yet. First off the one's I'm working on.

Isaac:

Got a lot of it done but ran out of time before Youma. I'll finish it over the next few months.

and now ones i'm thinking about doing

 - Movies - 

Shaun:

Nicholas Angel:

Gary King:

I already did Shaun but I'm considering doing a 3 day themed costume for a 3 day convention. I love the cornetto Trilogy and would like to do them Justice. the only issue I see is the facial hair. I'd have to start with Gary King then Shaun then Angel. but I think I could do it

Scott Pilgrim:

Not my favorite character from the Movie, but It's an easy one, get one of many shirts he wears, a bass Guitar, with duct tape depending on shirt, and go from there, good for a lazy day.

Todd Ingram:

another Easy one. I'd want the white out Contacts (with prescription) and spike my already highlighted hair. I might bring this one out sometime soon. I'll have to work out a lot though, ugh

Gideon Graves:

Just need a white blazer and a Pixel sword. otherwise have it all. Might do the smoking tear in the jacket just to add complexity

Matthew Patel:

Yeah, lot's of Edgar wright characters, but what Can I say, he's awesome. The indian Pirate looks cool but I dont really fit him size or ethnicity wise.

Battle Royale Group:

My group has talked about doig Battle royale, and because I like playing evil, Id do Kiriyama. I put this under movies because I'd be mimicking the Movie version

Legolas: 

He's always been a favorite to me, not sure If i'll ever get around to him though. also not sure which version i'd do, Hobbit or LOTR

Abe Sapien:

A difficult makeup job, but ultimately really fun to portray.

Karl Ruprecht Kroenen: (Hellboy)

Another evil character, but super athletic and sadistic, my kind of guy. I love the Nazi costume in the beginning, with the blades in the wrists.

Jaeger Pilots: (Pacific Rim)

My group has been talking about doing a Pacific rim group, two Pilots and a support team. It'd be fun, and I'd love to choreograph movements with the other pilot. bonus if its a girl. just sayin.

Jack Skellington:

a bit too common for me, but I love Jack, and with my size I can do him well. maybe a slightly tweaked version.

 - Video Games - 

Ellis:

already have the shirt, would load up on cool props, and tell ridiculous stories about my buddy keith.

Thane Krios: (Mass Effect)

My Favorite out of all of the crew members, badass but sympathetic. the makeup would be hard though.

Chuck Greene:

Have everything but the Ijiek Jacket. and making custom random props would be fun. I'd also feel the need to run around in a banana hammock at least once.

Zero: (Borderlands)

Didnt see a Zero this year, but He's awesome, and has a damn cool sword.

Mordecai:

I'd have to get the bird. I mean, Bloodwing is awesome!

Voldo:

well, I'd go all out, contortioning and weirdness are a plus.

Kilik:

I just like the bo Staff

 - Anime - 

Attack on Titan group:

I'd insist that everyone have the 3D Rig on, and that we all match. Im anal like that

Sanji:

A perfect excuse to hit on pretty ladies. and basically not that far from my personality and body type otherwise

Zoro:

Uh, Well, I'd have to work out, a lot. ugh

Trafalgar Law:

I like his Costume. and he's kinda a badass

Alexander Anderson:

Was recommended by a friend, i have to watch Hellsing to know how much i'd like to do him.

Sword Art Online:

Only about halfway through sword art and already know I wanna do it.

 - TV - 

Crowley: (Supernatural)

Well, it's badger as a badass....

Azazel: Supernatural

Ok, I'll admit, it's for the Yellow Eyes

Warbler: Glee

an easy costume, for a lazy day, but Apparently I look like grant Gustin, so I'll give it a try sometime.

So that's all of them, I'll be updating more as I decide on the next convention and costumes.
