Shalom!
So next up in the 'TCFF review' series is Trust Me, written directed and starring Clark Gregg. Aka agent Coulsen!
MOVIE REVIEW: Trust Me
Pros:
Hollywood based Hollywood movies can be hit or miss. This one worked. It was interesting to see it from the point of view of an agent. Most times agents are seen as heartless ass jackets and for the most part Trust Me bucks that trend. Clark Gregg was good as the likable agent. It's almost like the role was wrote for him...
The actress was also very good. Maybe not as good as the movie would have us believe but she did a great job.
Cons:
The twists In the movie were interesting, I didn't see them coming but in the end I wasn't really sure which was real. Maybe that's a good thing but I left the theatre rather frustrated.
Sam Rockwell was underused, he deserves a good starting role.
Cast:
How the hell did Clark Gregg get this cast? It's amazing. There are tons of people in this. Even William h Mach makes a cameo for all of 3 minutes. All of the cast looked like they were having fun. They meshed and noone felt miscast.
Final Verdict: 75
Was really fun at times and kept my attention but it wasn't quite original enough to keep my attention
And really? Coulsen dies? Again?
