Hola!

So that wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be.

I think.

MOVIE REVIEW: Lovelace

Pros:
Amanda Seyfried was very good as Linda. She played a good young naive girl then a good starlet, and ultimately a depressed scared abused woman. She nailed the part.

Peter saarsgard was great also as the gentleman turned abuser of traynor. He was likable and Stephen Hyde like in the beginning but was downright scary at the end.

The writing was very well constructed. The choice to jump around through the timelines made the emotional punch much more intense as it was revealed that he controlled her so much.

Cons:
The movie is very hard to watch, it starts with the awkwardness of porn and sex, then turned into a much much darker film as they revealed chuck as a tyrant.

It's not a movie I'd see with the family.

Setting:
The 70's was captured very well, through the makeup and hair to the minimalist set dressing. What impressed me most was the props and cars. They were perfect for the era.

Final Verdict: 81
Very well acted and written but incredibly hard to watch.

Next up is Cockneys vs zombies! MIDNIGHT SHOW!
