Alright everyone,
I got stopped by so many random people today. So many people trying to read my base during the day. It's rather interesting.
First movie down! 24 to go!
First off some quick updates about the day, it's been a rather odd day. First day wearing a Sponsor Badge.
Anyway onto the Review
TCFF MOVIE REVIEW: Blue Jasmine
Pros:
First and foremost, Cate Blanchett deserves a freakin Oscar. She was absolutely astounding. She could go from Gorgeous to train wreck in a single scene. Her character was fascinating and she played it perfectly. Hands down the best role I've seen her in in a long time.
Secondly the movie unfolded in a really great way, the writing was great, it never felt forced or staged. Which made all of the other actors look great in their supporting roles.
Cons:
Of course not all movies are perfect. This had a few faults. Mostly the two boyfriends of Ginger. Chili was just annoying to me. He was just such a tool and I don't see what ginger would see In him. Auggie was a total ass, and the scene where he confronts jasmine with her new fiancée was just randomly put in there. It was the only scene that felt out of place.
Acting:
What can I say, cate Blanchett was Perfect. Absolutely Perfect.
The rest of the cast was very well done. But let's face it It was the cate Blanchett show.
Final Verdict: 86
Brilliant acting and writing but most likely forgettable as the week goes on
So that's review one, very good start to the week
